A lifelong resident of Oregon, Dr. Snow has called Portland home for the last 20 years. As a family physician he enjoys the full range of his medical practice from newborn outpatient care and pediatrics to complete family medicine and senior healthcare as well.
Dr. Snow completed his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Southern Oregon University. He then completed his medical school training in Des Moines, Iowa before returning to Portland to complete his family practice residency.
In his free time, Dr. Snow enjoys spending time with his family, particularly enjoying the wonderful outdoor activities available in Oregon. A love of music, literature and playing marathon Scrabble games is shared with his wife Karen and they are both very active in their church.

Dr. Jill Shaw is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who joins Dr. Snow at Lake Road Family Medicine. Her clinical focus now includes Preventive Gynecologic Care, Perimenopause/Menopausal Hormone Balance, evaluation of abnormal bleeding and abnormal pap smears. She completed her B.A. in Human Biology at Stanford University in Stanford, CA. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, OH. Dr. Shaw completed an internship at Firelands Regional Health System in Sandusky, OH and her OB/GYN residency at Akron General Medical Center in Akron, OH. Dr. Shaw brings many awards to her medical practice experience in Oregon, including the Social Medicine/Medical Humanities Award from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Mentor of the Year at Firelands Region Health System. Dr. Shaw was a solo practice OB/GYN in SE Portland prior to being one of four founding members of the OB/GYN Division at The Oregon Clinic in 2012. Dr. Shaw served as an Executive Vice President at The Oregon Clinic for 2 years and founded their Peer Support Program in 2018. Dr. Shaw was the top-ranked provider in Patient Satisfaction ratings through the NRC at The Oregon Clinic from 2017-2019. Dr. Shaw retired from The Oregon Clinic at the end of December 2019 for a six month sabbatical before pursuing part-time employment. She was appointed to a 3 year term on the Oregon Medical Board in February 2020, joined the board of Mindful Medicine and the Wellness Committee of the Medical Society of Metropolitan Portland. As of June 2020, she works part-time as an office-based gynecologist and as a provider wellness consultant.
When Dr. Shaw is not working, she enjoys volunteering, hiking in the woods and foraging for edible mushrooms in season while exploring Oregon’s great outdoors. Dr. Shaw lives in Portland with her husband.

Dr. Adkins grew up in Minnesota. She earned her B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of MN - Duluth. She attended the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI where she received her M.D. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Texas-Houston Memorial Hermann Hospital. She has been board certified in obstetrics and gynecology since 2009. Prior to joining Lake Road family medicine, Dr. Adkins spent 15 years in full scope OB/GYN practices in both Houston and Portland. She now focuses her practice on office gynecology only, with special interests in menopause care, contraception, management of abnormal bleeding, abnormal Pap smears, and preventive women health care. She is a current member of The Menopause Society and has successfully met the criteria and passed the examination necessary to earn The Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) certification. Founded in 1989, The Menopause Society is the leading nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering healthcare professionals to improve the health of women during menopause transition and beyond. Those who hold the MSCP certification has demonstrated special interest and competency in the field of menopause. She is a current member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
When Dr. Adkins isn’t caring for patients, she enjoys working in her garden, running and hiking on trails throughout Oregon, knitting, and travel with her husband and three children.
